We pride ourselves in being an exceptional pediatric practice where children come first. Our child-focused practice works hard to meet the needs of children from infancy through adolescence. Compassionate, knowledgeable and supportive staff is the cornerstone of TLC Pediatrics quality care. All of our pediatricians and medical staff are highly trained professionals, and maintain the highest level of accreditation in pediatric care to address the special needs of infants, children, and teens.
Patricia Jorquera, MD, FAAP
Patricia Jorquera, MD (aka Dr. Patty), who founded TLC Pediatrics in February 2008, is a board-certified pediatrician and native Spanish speaker, born in Chile. Dr. Patty attended New York University School of Medicine on a full scholarship, and Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital Residency Program. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as a member of the Fairfield County Medical Association and the Connecticut Medical Society. She has been practicing general pediatrics in Fairfield County since 1999, specializing in child development, asthma and allergy, and obesity. Dr. Patty's mission at TLC Pediatrics has been to serve her patients with the highest quality of care, in a friendly, family style environment. She has emphasized quality of care, continuity, and education, which has enabled TLC Pediatrics to become a certified Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home.
She is currently a volunteer at “Count On Me Foundation”, and has volunteered in medical clinics in Ecuador in 2006 and traveled to Haiti in January 2010 to assist in the relief efforts after the earthquake.
During her time off, Dr. Patty enjoys many hobbies, such as hiking, jogging, and gardening. She has two young boys who keep her busy and young!
Cindy Perry, MD, FAAP
Cindy Perry joined TLC Pediatrics in September 2016. Dr. Perry is a board-certified pediatrician. She was born in the Philippines and was raised in northern New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate training at Villanova University and returned to New Jersey to attend Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She then completed her residency program at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.
Dr. Perry has always loved working with children. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is on staff at Norwalk and Stamford Hospitals. She has a special interest in lactation counseling and support, asthma and childhood obesity. At TLC Pediatrics, she enjoys the philosophy of the Patient-Centered Medical Home, which enables her to provide comprehensive, quality care to her patients.
Dr. Perry currently resides in Darien with her husband and two young, active boys. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, spending time outdoors and traveling.

Carolyn Levy, APRN, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist
Carolyn Levy, APRN is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who joined TLC Pediatrics in 2020. She served in the United States Coast Guard from 2001-2004. She earned her undergraduate nursing degree from Southern Connecticut State University and worked as a registered nurse at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital for 10 years where she discovered her love of pediatrics. During the time when her own children were young, she worked as a school nurse while earning her graduate degree as a pediatric nurse practitioner from Stonybrook University. There, she completed internships in general pediatrics, pediatric otolaryngology, pulmonology and endocrinology as well as an independent study in anti-human trafficking and graduated suma cum laude.
Carolyn loves to learn, teach and volunteer. She recently participated in a medical mission to the Dominican Republic where she provided much needed medical care to underserved children in an impoverished community. She intends to continue volunteering on similar medical missions in the future. Here in Connecticut, she serves as a health consultant and educator for local schools and childcare centers and is always looking to learn something new that she can use to help her patients and their families thrive.
In her spare time Carolyn loves relaxing with her husband and two boys, hiking, gardening, snow skiing and listening to podcasts.
Ingrid Pasten, LCSW
Ingrid Pasten is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving in the area of Norwalk. She obtained her Bachelor's in Social Work with a minor Psychology from Sacred Heart University and her Masters in Social Work with a clinical concentration from Fordham University.
Ingrid has a variety of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. Her populations of interest include working with children and adults in suicide prevention, trauma, behavioral issues, anger management, domestic violence, child welfare, LGBTQ+, grief & loss, depression, and anxiety. In her experience, she previously worked at The Sexual Assault Crisis Center, working with individuals in crisis and providing services to victims affected by sexual abuse, domestic violence and human trafficking. Additionally, she has experience in presenting and giving training to multiples agencies and schools on the topics of Sexual abuse, Domestic Violence, Assertive Communication, and Leadership.
As a therapist, Ingrid will help her clients to identify problems, resolve conflicts and promote optimal functioning in everyday life. In addition, she specializes in promoting families and children to build and strengthen relationships to promote optimal child development.
Some of the techniques that she incorporates during sessions include TF-CBT (Trauma Focused -Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Person-Centered, and mindfulness-based solutions. She is currently working toward her goal to become a Registered Play Therapist. She is fluent in English and Spanish. In her personal time, she enjoys reading, traveling and attending music events.
Kingy, joined TLC Pediatrics in 2015.
He is our Havanese hypoallergenic therapy dog, whose purpose is to provide comfort to our patients who request him.
